Hello Derek,

Thanks for your video help files! I'm beginning to get the hang of this programme, however. . . .
I use Panasonic V720 HD vidio camera, Movie Studio Plat. 12 but I still only use a standard DVD player to standard (widescreen)PAL TV.

Of course, the raw video is too HD for my TV, but the camera does not allow shooting of Standard DVD. I have shot at 1080/50i now how do I
set the Movie Studio Project Video Properties? Do I go straight to the DVD settings after importing into Studio or do I select the AVCHD video I have
imported and go to DVD later? I'm sure you have covered this before, but I can't seem to find it.

Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken

I have an article which explains everything here:
www.moviestudiozen.com/doctor-zen-faq/167-how-to-render-a-dvd-for-dvd-architect

You can set your Project to DVD settings or Match the Media to be the same as your source video.
I prefer to use the Match Media method. If you go about 1/3 the way down the linked article and look for this section - Instructions for Starting a New Project - Method B.
Follow this method and your Project will be set to 1080-50i.
Your Render As settings are the most important section.

Regards
Derek.
