Every video file has rhythmic tapping!!! What could it be? PLEASE HELP

It sounds like you have the Metronome turned on.
Go to View in the top menu and turn it OFF.

ℹ️ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.

Aha ... sneaky little bugger :-)

I was looking under View and didn't spot it, obviously, but did try and go through all the drop down menus and still missed it. Never noticed it before and never read about anyone making use of it. Now even sure what it would be used for.
