I would say core 1.3 is ok for me on this desktop. Get as much RAM as you can.I have used it with 8GB of RAM. I have used vegas on an old laptop with 2GB. But the more you have the better and RAM is not very expensive now

Always get as much RAM as you can afford.
For video editing, a minimum 0f 8GBs is required for best performance, however 16GB or higher is better.

An Intel Core i3 is not suitable for video editing - yes it may work, but will be terribly slow.
Minimum requirement for video editing is Intel i5 4x Core, but Intel i7 4x Core or higher is recommended for best performance.

AMD Radeon Graphics Cards work best with Vegas software, however it is virtually impossible to find Intel CPU and AMD GPU combinations in laptops.
Most Intel based laptops use Nvidia GPUs.
Nvidia GPU will still work, but AMD is better.

A Desktop computer is always a much better choice for a video editing machine and will generally cost you less and give you more power than laptop.

1. Click Windows Start button (right-click and select Run in using Windows 10)
2. On the Start menu, click Run.
3. In the Open box, type "dxdiag" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
4. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens. Click the Display tab.
5. On the Display tab, information about your graphics card is shown in the Device section. You can see the name of your card, as well as how much video memory it has.
