How do you make a still photo seem like it is 3D as in the attached screenshot in Vegas Pro 12? This is the end credits of a TV program so i have removed some details. But i want that effect for shorts i am doing. I can make it at an angle but not like it is coming out from the screen

If all you need is a static photo (or something like zoom in/out in addition to 3D), you could use Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, or Affinity Photo to manipulate your photo to 3D, then superimpose and use Track Motion to zoom in/out.

If you are looking for something more sophisticated to put the photo in motion, then I would use HitFilm Express, where you should have 3 axis animation controls.

Oops! Forgot about Composting in 3D Alpha Mode. I never use it, so it was way back in the cobwebs!

Click on the Composting Mode icon (left of track), then select 3D Alpha Mode. When the window pops up you can then get the third axis you need.

HitFilm Express would be in addition to Vegas Pro, but I posted another reply above that will make what you want very easy, sorry for starting you down the long trail.

There may be a method within Vegas Pro, however I'm not aware of it, sorry. I would use Photoshop, PaintShop Pro or Affinity Photo to create the serrated edge with a transparent background (png file). If the photo application of your choice does not have a template to create the edge it could be created by hand using various tools, maybe the eraser tool would be best.

Ok here is my effort. It seems to be more narrow inside and wider outside than the sample. How to correct this

I'm not sure what you are referring to as 'inside' and 'outside'.

I'll use right front edge, left rear edge and top and bottom. If you are saying the left rear edge is too narrow compared to your original OP example in comparison to your recently post, I think you need to adjust the 'X' axis, which will increase or decrease the prospective (3D effect). If that doesn't work I would reset everything and start over. 1st adjusting the size, then the placement, then the 'X' axis for perspective.
