Solved Vegas pro 15 and DVD Architect
I seem to have hit an impass with using DVD Architect. I upgraded to Vegas Pro 15. Then purchased the DVD Architect vs 5. Upon watching Dereks great tutorial on using DVD Arcitect, I rendered the video in the desired MPEG 2 using the NTSC format. Everything looked good and the file rendered into the folder where it is supposed to be. HOWEVER, when I go to DVD Architect and open the folder to get the file, it does not appear on the selecton menu as a recognized DVD Architect file. Are these two versions not compatible? Or am I missing something?
Thanks for ANY help to resolve this masterpiece of my mind.

Your export is probably a mpg file which is a media file not a DVD Architect (Project) file.
Go to the Explorer window bottom left, find your exported file, and drag it to the compilation window. Or from the top menus - Insert/Media and browse to where the file is.

Doesn't show up there either. Attached is a screenshot of the file folder where you can see multiple save for attempting to work through this. The DVD Architect menu does not show any of the rendered files.

Let's go back one step.
The very first thing you said makes no sense.
Vegas Pro 15 comes with Vegas DVD Architect (version 7).
There is no need to buy DVD Architect when it is already included with VP15.
Secondly, DVD Architect version 5 is no longer for sale - that is now an ancient version.
Before Magix took over, there were 2 versions of DVD Architect.
DVD Architect Studio version 5, which came with Vegas Movie Studio Platinum versions.
DVD Architect Pro version 6, which came with Vegas Pro versions.
The latest versions of Vegas Movie Studio and Vegas Pro, now use the same Vegas DVD Architect (v7) version.
You should only be using Vegas DVD Architect now!
Now to your next issue.
The first thing I recommend you do is delete all those render attempts in your folder - that is just going to create confusion.
I'm not sure how you would even now which version to use and all I can see is .mp4 video files.
If you rendered to MainConcept MPEG2 - DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen video stream, you will see a yourvideo.mpg video file
If you do have a .mpg video file and an AC-3 audio file, please delete everything else.
A very common oversight that people can make, is to forget setting the Output Folder Location for their videos, before they begin a render.
To stay super organised and to avoid confusion, you could go one step further and create a Renders folder inside of your project folder, and render all your video and audio files for this project into the Renders folder - then no files will get mixed up with other stuff.
If you don't check the folder address before you start a render, your videos can end up being saved to a completely different folder location.
If this happens, you will end up confused and think the video is missing.
Check this:
To import a video file into DVD Architect, do this:
Right-click Untitled and select Insert Media
Navigate to the folder you rendered your video into and select it.
Then drag video onto Menu screen.

Thank you I will clear it out and create a Render file. I will also double check the source folder, though I am certain I did that. I must have vs 7 of DVD Architect as I am using the one with the program. I unfortunately purchased the one after realizing it was on the Vegas Pro Disk. Thanks for all your help!!!!!
