Got the HumbleBundle Pro 14 Edit for $25, and used that to upgrade to Vegas Pro 15 Suite. VP15 Suite @ $299 is hard to beat. The installation was flawless, and haven't seen any problems yet. Very pleased.

I'm not professional either, but the suite's combined add-ons cost more than VP15. It's a very nice package for less than $300. I'm not on-board with VP15's UI compared to other versions I've used, but hopefully, in time I will like it. Other than the new UI, it's very nice, and the Suite's add-ons are great. I very much like Pro Titler 5. Haven't used the Sapphire or Boris OFX that much yet.
