Hi Guys
We purchased Vegas Pro16 Update to day on Black Friday to an affordable price
Mostly because the Pro now can edit and render 360 Video

360 Video are 2:1 size type: 4K 3840x1920 it can be set as custom Size in H264 AVC and H265 HEVC
but are there any tips or way around for 5,7K 5760x2880 rendering settings

in CyberLink PowerDirector16 and 17 (64-bit) you can override the Profile.ini

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\16.0\UserConfigure

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\17.0\UserConfigure

and here after you can easily Render 5,7 K video

Wonder if you can do something like this, or we have to ask MAGIX to make a Patch
To bring the Application up to date ?

Hi Svendus

I do not work with 360° video, so cannot experiment or understand this type of video yet.
It would be better if you asked a question like this on the official Vegas Pro Forums.
You are more likely to find someone who can help with this.

If you find an answer to this, please post the reply back here so I can learn :)

Regards
Derek

I don't know anything about 360 video either, but I think the largest resolution in Vegas is 4096. You can probably get 5.7K in DaVinci Resolve 15 Studio (about $299 USD), but if your not familiar with Resolve, there is a learning curve.
Best Regards......George

Thank You Derek
We Now posted on the Vegas p16 Forum

forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/1022854https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/24/1022854

But to day several 360 cameras can actually shoot 5K Video and higher
type GarminVIRB 360 8(5,7K), Gopro Fusion (5,2K), Insta 360ONE X (5,7K) and Yi 360 (5,7K)

So we thought the Pro application being "Pro" had high resolution support
we have used Movie Studio Platinum for many Years and thought that the the time for upgrade was Now! ?
the MAGIX Video Pro X by Magix has high resolution support (Prorex.mov) not mp4
but the application are sadly a bit award to use.

Note: The downside with 360 Video are that You actually onely see 1/4 of the resolution on the screen

means that a 8K Video can be seen full screen on a 2K monitor 2560 x 1600
