They say you learn something every day, well I have learnt quite a bit today about the use of Parent and child layers. for me it was just a question of having the time to play around and experiment. I'm sure most of you forum members know about this anyway, but it came to me as a feature to explore today after reading the help file . Thanks to Derek for a lot of his tuitions and the inspirations. Cheers John
