Solved Vegas Pro 17 will not start
Clicked Vegas Pro 17 icon to start and the title screen loads very briefly and then an error message comes up stating "Vegas Pro has stopped working". This problem has started after the upgrade as it ran very well before that.
Here is the text from the error message.
Problem Description
Application Name: VEGAS Pro
Application Version: Version 17.0 (Build 387)
Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xe06d7363)
Fault Module: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll

Process Version: Version 17.0 (Build 387)
Process Description: VEGAS Pro
Process Image Date: 2019-12-05 (Thu Dec 05) 19:51:16
Any ideas how I can fix this? I have re-installed Vegas Pro twice and rebooted after each un-install.
I have an Acer Predator with 16GB Ram and nVidia GeForce GTX1080 and i7-7820HK CPU
Thank you for your assistance.

You may need to go back to build 353 until the VEGAS team finds a solution to this issue.

Thank you @vkmast
There seems to be a problem for some people after updating to build #387, that may relate to the build version of Windows you have installed.
I would recommend you follow @vkmast's advice and install the slightly older #353 build version of Vegas Pro 17.
You can download build #353 directly from this link:

Thank you vkmast and Doctor Zen. I have removed VP17 build 387 and used CCleaner to clean the registry and installed build 353 and all is working well. It looks like build 387 does have some issues for some of us and hopefully they will be resolved in the near future.
