Should GPU acceleration be 'On' or 'Off'? was created by Virdi

Hi guys,

My rig does not have a dedicated Graphics Card - So the CPU is only the one built into my CPU (4790k) I think it's called Intel 4600?

So under 'Preferences' -  Will it be better for me to have GPU Acceleration set to 'Off'?

Thanks

Which exact version of Vegas are you using ?

You need to be careful with turning on GPU acceleration with Intel QSV 4000 series graphics.
Hopefully if you turned this on, it should speed up Vegas Pro 17.
However, older Intel 4000 series integrated graphics is known to cause problems in Vegas for some people.
If you turn this on and rendering crashes, this will be the cause of the crash - in which case you should turn it OFF and just use your CPU to do the processing.
