Question SVDTS on Vegas Pro 14

Anyone have luck getting SVDTS (v3) to work on Vegas Pro 14?
I've got the .dll in the supposed correct location (C:\ProgramData\VEGAS Pro\14.0\Application Extensions), but Vegas Pro doesn't see it.


 

 

Alternatively, if anyone has a [free] method for adding rolling date/timestamps to videos in Vegas Pro 14 I'd be open to learning that.
svdts was the obvious hit turned up from Google searching.

Stupid latest gen Google Nest cameras don't have date/timestamp in the downloaded videos.  Who thought that was a good idea to remove that functionality from the prior gen Nest cameras?!?
  

I never used this product personally.
Support for SVDTS has ended a long time ago now.

I am not aware of any "free" apps that can do the same thing that SVDTS did.
However, there is a paid product called Vegasaur, that can do this.

Vegasaur is a collection of Apps for VEGAS Pro - the cost is $99.

Thanks. Yeah, I saw Vegasaur, but am not really interested in paying $99 for it. Especially just to hack something that Google should have included by default in their cameras.

I'd found references to SVDTS and it sounded like exactly what I needed. But for some reason the .dll isn't being recognized when I put it in what I think is the right directory.  I was hoping someone on here had a solution as I didn't find anything via Google searching other than one other person with the same problem and no posted solution.
