I am planning to buy Sony vegas pro edit and I want to know if it's possible to get new blue effects from Movie studio platinum 12 and download it onto Sony vegas pro edit 12, or do I have to buy Sony vegas pro 12 and get the new blue stuff from there? (Sorry if I am not being specific I am not good at explaining topics).

Your NewBlueFx from Movie Studio Platinum 12 will automatically show up in Vegas Pro Edit. You don't have to do a thing.
Download the free trial direct from Sony Creative Software and you can see what I mean right now.
