Hi Cineman,

If you double click your mouse when selecting the end to shorten, it will go to Expanded Track mode. Also, if you double click on an event it will add a loop region.

Could this be the problem?

Also the num5 key, when the event is selected, will toggle Expanded Track on/off.

Thanks. Find it hard to single click it seems to pick up a single as double. Noted re num5

Would adjusting your mouse properties in Windows, or perhaps you have a special mouse with it's own configuration software.

Perhaps slowing or speeding up the response setting for double click may help.

Glad you found the problem, a mouse that jumps around and acts on it's own is real annoying!

There must be plague attacking Mice at the moment :woohoo:
I just discovered my mouse wheel is acting like a yo-yo when I try to scroll and then making the whole page disappear.
They need to put tachometers on these things, then we'd realize how much work they have done.
It's time for a new mouse in the Zen Labs.
