DVD A Pro 7 build 100 low memory error.
I'm using DVD A Pro Build 100
Win 10 32 gigs of RAM
No other programs running.
Uninstalled program and reinstalled.
Using .avc video files and Sony Wav audio files.
YET when I select make bluray.. I get the low memory error.. I restart and still get the same error message.
I can run the same application that is install on my Win7 Home PC and prepare a .iso files with no problem except it
takes over 6 hours.
What's wrong?

Hi UJ80s.
I’ve been able to create both DVDs and Blurays with DVDA7 (Build 100) in Win 10 and Win11 without issues, and like you my Win 10 PC had 32GB RAM. For Bluray I routinely used AVC video and WAV64 audio, so it can and should work ok.Are you just Preparing or Preparing and Buring.? How big are your bluray project files, and what bitrate is your video file?In DVD architect under Options>Preferences what storage space is reported for the various temp and working folders in the “Burning” and “Mastering” tabs. What drives are these working and temp folders located on? Bear in mind you need at least double the disk size available. Cheers, Robbie

I'm preparing first, the .iso image is set to be saved in a folder that has 292.0 gigabytes. My Mastering folder has free space of 292,042.2 MB.
My blu-ray project will produce a 16.0 gb disc.

Posted 20 Jan 2026 17:36 #17440 How many Drives are in your computer ?
Do you have only a Local Disk (C:) drive?
OR
Do you have secondary drives as well?
Go to This PC on your computer.
How much space is reporting as "Free" on all your drives?
List each one separately for me, if you have more than one.
Do you have any External Hard Drives connected to your computer?
What can make DVD Architect and VEGAS Pro do weird things, is when you have done a NON-STANDARD install of the program.
Example: Not installing DVD Architect in the default location on your C-Drive.
On my computer, DVD Architect lives here: C:\Program Files (x86)\VEGAS\DVD Architect
The next thing to look at is the Folder location your are saving your DVD Architect projects to.
If you use a weird non-standard folder address, it can cause errors.
If you use strange characters in the Address, to can cause errors.
On my system, my DVD Architect projects are being stored on my D-Drive.
Example:
\Users\UserName\Documents\DVD Architect Projects
Have you tried a full program reset for DVD Architect ?
I recommend doing this. Instruction on how to do a reset are here:
Same instructions as Movie Studio and VEGAS Pro!
www.moviestudiozen.com/free-tutorials/doctor-zen-faq/how-to-reset-sony-software-to-default-settings#a1
After the reset, open DVD Architect and go to Options / Preferences / Preview
Set Aspect Ratio = 16:9
Now go to Options / Preferences / Burning
Look at Temporary Files Folder location.
The default location should be your C-Drive, but if your C-Drive is almost full, that can cause a problem.
In the same window, there is an Advanced Setting - Use Legacy Drivers
It may be worth trying to turn this OFF, just in case it makes a difference.
Another thing to try is Re-Saving your Project into a NEW FOLDER location.
Go to File / Save As
Navigate to your Documents / DVD Architect folder, then create a NEW FOLDER inside of here.
This is to make sure you are not accidentally using parts of a different project.

One thing that popped out to myself when I read this, was the very last reply.
When I use to make Blu-ray discs, I used the MPEG-2 Blu-ray templates in VEGAS Pro to render videos for DVD Architect and never had a problem.
Which version of VEGAS are you using to render your videos ?
In VEGAS Pro 23, these are the templates I would recommend you render your videos with instead.
MAKE SURE to create a new project folder for each test you do, so that different versions do not get mixed up!

Derek
