I'm using DVD A Pro Build 100
Win 10 32 gigs of RAM
No other programs running.
Uninstalled program and reinstalled.
I am using a .jpg that is 670KB  3840 x 2860

What's wrong?
I read online that many users have this problem with DVD architect and I have reached out to Magix. They  cannot help me because they no longer support this application.

If no solution is available I MUST find another Blu-Ray authoring program that functions like DVDA 7.

Bear in mind, as often mentioned, DVDA is a 32 bit programme so cannot use all your lovely RAM.

I've not encountered your problem but have you tried;
  1. Reducing the image size to 1920x1080
  2. Converting the jpg to png.
Also how was the jpg created?  I recall years ago when I did a lot of still photography that jpg files saved as "lossless" gave problems.

I've never has a problem importing a .jpg or .png file to use as a background in DVD Architect.
Can you upload a copy of the image as an attachment to the forum, so I can test it on my computer?
