Solved Video stretched when viewed on TV - What could I be doing wrong?

:cheer: We are done!

It was the %#$@&%*! DVD player aspect ratio setting. I didn't think to check that until your latest message, because every commercial DVD I have thrown in the DVD player shows up in 16:9. I don't know why this would have been any different, but I'm ready to learn.

Sorry to have put you through all this grief, but I've learned a LOT.

EVERYONE: Check your DVD player settings if it seems like Vegas Movie Studio isn't rendering with the correct aspect ratio.

I've sent you $25 but I feel like I owe you a bottle of wine for your efforts. Thanks, Derek.

I am glad you finally found the problem.
I had a feeling you would discover it soon.

Everyone has been through this kind of agony before, so don't feel bad.
The only reason I have learnt so much, is by doing so many things wrong first.
It always ends up being something simple.

One thing is for sure. This forum thread is bound to help many other people in the future.

Cheers :)
Derek.
