I haven't used Movie Studio 12 in several years. I no longer have an internet connection at home (where my computer is). I recently wanted to use the program but got the error message below. Can anybody tell me what's wrong?

An Unmanaged Exception could be anything.
There is not specific fault address in the error report, so I can't tell you what the cause would be.
Another Movie Studio Platinum 12 users who also is not connected to the internet, has been getting the same error message.
I re-installed Movie Studio Platinum 12 to check it on my own computer, and it is running perfectly OK.
Normally errors like this are caused by an unrelated program and/or a bad Windows update.
Try a program reset first:

If a reset does not work, I recommend you try is a clean re-install of Movie Studio.
