MSP v.14 No video in preview window was created by gunner

So I'm working on a project and suddenly there is no video in the preview window. Audio is fine. Now admittedly I've had 3 surgeries this year, on both arms and my right shoulder (which is being replaced next week) so it's very possible an errant finger hit something. Any suggestions on where I need to be looking to solve this problem?

As always, thanks for any suggestions!

Hi Gunner

Make sure both of these two settings are NOT turned on.
Various combinations of the settings inside, can make your video disappear.

If that does not work, the easiest thing to do is a full program reset.

Yeech! Feeling dumber by the minute here... The Split Screen View is on "FX Bypassed" and the Overlays to "Safe Areas." That made no difference in my project video so I did the reset you describe. Still no video in my project. However, if I close my project and drag one of the clips I'm working with into the timeline on a new project the video displays just fine. Do you have any more magic for this?

Thanks,

Can you attach your vf file here so others can check it. Don't worry that there won't be the source material.

Yessir, that did the trick! I knew it had to be something I had done unintentionally but had no idea where to look. Wonder how I did that...? As I said I don't have full control of either of my hands with the left hand being far and away the worst. I had surgery to correct the problems on both arms but, so far at least, the left arm hasn't come back at all. The right arm/hand are back to maybe 90% of where they were. I'm having a reverse shoulder replacement next Monday which is going to cause me to lose the use of my right arm and hand for a few weeks which is going to make computer use very difficult. Had I known I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself! :)

Thanks a ton,
