Hi

I have Vegas Movie Studio 14 and it will not accept MOV files. I have a number of these files on my hard drive and cannot use them in Vegas. Is there a conversion file to use?

Installing Apple Quicktime for Windows should fix your problem.
I have an FAQ you can read here, that will explain more for you.
There are direct download links for 2 versions of Quicktime, that I recommend you try - look at Option 1 in FAQ.

I have been down the path with Quicktime, ended up removing it completely.

I have two regular sources of MOV format videos with which to work.

Canon DSLR MOV files work straight off in VMSP 14

iOS MOV files do not work. I simply convert them to MP4 with Nero Recode. A very quick and satisfying solution.

I also had occasion to work with Nikon AVI files and had no issues whatsoever in VMSP 14
