Solved Locking a Track

Locking a Track was created by frankmlucas

I imported a video file. I did some editing/cutting of it. I added a sound effects track, and some media objects. So I have several tracks for my project. How can I just select one track and lock it so my further work doesn't disturb what I've accomplished?

The only Tool that you can use is the Auto-Ripple Tool.
It has 3 settings.
Read this:
How do I rubber band all my media together on the Timeline using the Auto-Ripple Tool ?

I have several tracks, each containing various media. I have one track that has several pieces of media (let's say it's an edited video file). So, this track has many individual bits of video. I'd like to lock all the video bits on the track at one time/simultaneously, rather than selecting each and right-clicking to Switch > Lock. Can I select an entire track to Switch > Lock?

OK
I am with you now.

You can select ALL Events on a single Track by doing this:
Right-click on first event and select Select Events to End. This will highlight all items.
Then right-click again, go to Switches - Lock.
Done.
