Solved Change offline media to online.
I'm confused as to what exactly is your problem. You state the files are offline yet in this message (taken from your earlier post) the message is not that MS12 cannot find the files but it has a problem with them. This could be because one or more is corrupt. Please clarify what exactly is the message you get when you try to open your vf file.

I can see the file on my laptops hard drive as it was saved both on external & laptop hard drive but i was editing on an external hard drive. External drive broke.
When i try to open the file on my laptops hard drive, it says files r missing
When i click 2nd option on screenshot then okay it just sends me to video files on hard drive. My problem is what do i do there? The file i what to open is not there.

You have just said that you saved a copy of the missing files on the laptop's Hard Drive.
If this is true, you already know the location of the missing files.
Forget about Vegas for one moment and close the program down.
Now find this file right now "Made_A_Way_--Travis_Green[1].mp3
Get a piece of paper and right down this files location, since you said "you can see the file on my laptops hard drive".
Now open Vegas.
Select the 2nd option in your 2nd screen shot and press OK.
This is very important! When you select the 2nd option, it does not automatically find your missing file for you.
The folder it may open up into, could be any random location on your computer - usually the last location you opened.
You have to now navigate through your computer's Hard Drive to the location you wrote down on a piece of paper.
When you get to the first missing file that says Made_A_Way_--Travis_Green[1].mp3, select it.
After selecting the first missing file, you now have to repeat the same process over and over again for each missing file until you have found them all.
If there are any files that you cannot find, you will have to Ignore missing file and leave it offline
Once the project is loaded, go to Save As immediately and save with a new file name.
Then go to Tools/Clean Project Media
This will remove all files that are not in use.
Now save your project again.
Now there should be nothing off-line.
An important point to note!
The first missing file shown in your 2nd screen shot, was never located on your External Hard Drive or in a normal Documents, Music, Picture or Video folder.
Your screen shot is showing this file was originally located in the Vegas Temporary Files Folder (cache).
If you have reset Vegas recently, that file would have been deleted from your computer.
It is never a good idea to save files into the Vegas Temporary Files Folder, because they can easily be deleted without knowing.

Yes the file on screen is not from the one on external hard drive. I will work on the one which is a precise copy from one in external harddrive. Will try this later today.

Again I cannot know if I understand precisely what you mean.
All I can say is the OPTION 2 in the Search & Find function, will allow you to select any file as a replacement file.
