I tried to open a video in Movie Studio Platinum 15, but it just showed the spinning wheel and then crashed, please help asap. Thank you!

Is this the first time you have ever used Vegas ?
OR
Have you been using Vegas for a long time and just experienced this problem for the first time ?

Are you able to import different types of video, from different sources ?

Where did this problem video come from ?
File extension, codec, device ?

You can use MediaInfo to find out what type of video you are working with.
If you are not familiar with MediaInfo, please read my reply in another forum thread here.
Instructions start at STEP 3.

Make sure you have the latest build version for Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 15 installed, which is build #146.
Go to Help/About to find build version.
