SPLIT TRACK - 2 CHANNEL AUDIO was created by rblair

Is there any way in Movie Studio to maintain the two channels on a split track audio after rendering. If not, can Vegas Pro do this?

Edit
I mean a split track used by a choir. One channel has vocals and the other has instrumentals. We need control of each channel.

I will assume you are talking about the Right and Left Channel for a standard Audio Track.
There are always 2 audio waveforms for each Audio Track.

What do you mean by Split Track ?
Please upload a small screen shot to explain exactly what you mean.

Regards
Derek.

No software on Earth will let you render a project and have it output as separate tracks in one file.

What you want to do can all be done BEFORE your render a new video.
You can add up to 20x Audio and 20x Video Tracks into the Movie Studio timeline and add as many audio files and video files as you like.
Right-click a Video or Audio track and select Insert Video Track or Insert Audio Track.

Place your Vocals on Audio Track 1.
Place your Instrumentals on Audio Track 2.
Now you can use the Track Control Box for each track to adjust audio volume separate and/or add Audio Fx.
You can also re-name and Audio/Video track to whatever you like.
In reality there are only Video and Audio tracks. The names Movie Studio assigns are just there as a general guide to get you going.

In Movie Studio Platinum you adjust all Audio from the timeline.

In Vegas Pro you can switch on a Mixing Console as well, to make the job a little easier and to do more complex mixes.
