I just upgraded to Vegas 19 and both times I have edited new videos the audio and video lines that should have been together somehow separated   Any idea why this is happening?

I experienced the exact same problem !!!
Drove me crazy for a few days, until I found the solution.

Do a full program reset and it should fix the problem.

ℹ️ Remember to turn everything off at least once a week, including your brain, then sit somewhere quiet and just chill out.
