Q: How to restore the Event Pan/Crop window to default settings in Sony Vegas?
Answer: Right-click inside the Event Pan/Crop Window and select Restore Box.

In Windows 10, right-click Taskbar and select Taskbar Settings.Turn on Automatically hide the taskbar.
Grab Vegas window and re-position

It sounds like you have not selected Mask timeline - if you have accidentally selected Position, it will look like nothing is happening!

Also make sure the Main Timeline cursor is on top of your video, otherwise you won't see any movement.

In case something weird has happened, it might be a good idea to do a full program reset, which will default all settings back to factory defaults.
