Question Rendering Issue the Movie Studio 16 Platinum

Rendering Issue the Movie Studio 16 Platinum was created by Arendelft

I’m having a rendering issue with Movie Studio 16 Platinum (Build 175). The video is complete, but every time I try to render it, it freezes at the same time, approximately 15.13%. I’ve completely uninstalled and reinstalled the software, but the same issue recurs. The spot where it freezes is not an intense graphic spot. And I know it’s not a storage issue, because I’m saving it in a drive that has 90 gigs free. All my hard drives have free space. Trying to cancel the rendering doesn’t help, and neither does exiting out of the program. I’ve sent 6 or 7 error reports. The only way to stop the rendering is by going to task manager.

My graphics card is GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING

I know that's not all the necessary info to figure out the situation, so I'll post this to get ideas going and continue to look for that other info.
(I've been looking at this thread: www.moviestudiozen.com/forum/movie-studio-platinum/2379-stops-rendering )

Does anyone know what the issue could be and how to fix it? I’d really like to get this video out into the world!

Hi Arendelft

Which Format and Template did you select to render with ?
Did you customize any of your render settings ?
If you created custom render settings, please take a screen shot of your custom settings and upload to the forum.

Did you use any Video FX in your project ?
If so, which Video FX did you use at that section of the video ?

Reinstalling the program will rarely make any differences.
It is much better to try a full program reset.
Reset instructions here:
