Thanks for opening a forum! I struggled for years with Windows Movie Maker whilst others told me how great Sony Vegas Movie Studio was! Tried Coral Videostudio only to suffer the same frustrations. Then all of a sudden I achieved something of a breakthrough with a copy of Sony Vegas Movie Studio 11 Platinum HD that my wife bought me for Christmas. Suddenly it began to come together!

Then I found your tutorials and website and have learned a lot since then. Thanks for answering some of my emails and I'm glad you are on the mend!

Good luck with this effort and I will try to offer some contributions if I can.

Hi Derek and fellow editors. Great to see this forum started and happy to be getting in on the ground floor. Big thanks Derek for your great tutorials that are always spot on. As a side note, I once started a forum on a different topic that grew from 6 members to over 15,000 in less than a year. It was successful because I kept it well moderated and tolerated only positive karma. Best of luck with this one. I hope to be around as time permits and participate in a positive way. Cheers....

I am very proud of the Movie Studio Zen community on my YouTube channel. There is over 21,000 comments on that channel now and virtually no trolls at all. I have made a point of replying to almost 100% of all questions and comments since day one and continue to do so. So I would like to think that my continued positive presence has kept the wolves at bay and will continue on the new forum as well.
